The topic for the 1999 LACASIS March meeting was: Automation Support for Distributed Team Collaboration. It was held on March 23 at the Manhattan Room in Manhattan Beach, CA. Dr. Maria (Lolo) Penedo, a Technology Fellow and Senior Engineer/Scientist in the System and Information Technology Group at TRW, spoke about the Infrastructure for Collaboration among Distributed Teams Project at TRW. The project's mission is to improve the ability of dispersed teams to collaborate via semi-automated collaborative processes supported by existing technologies.
