The 1999 LACASIS Business Meeting and Presentation Program was held on June 15 at the Los Angeles Times. The Los Angeles Times Editorial Library recently expanded the scope and services of its image archiving system to fully support the LA Times' Photo Department's image processing and production functions for the daily paper. Speaker Bill Lawrence, Database Architect for the Editorial Library of the Los Angeles Times, demonstrated the LA Times Library Image Archive and new Live Image Database, and previewed the Library's exciting Web site management tool.
