The LACASIS January dinner program's topic was The Internet and Web Privacy. It was held Tuesday, January 30, 2001 at the UCLA Faculty Center. Topics of discussion included: current U.S. privacy laws, technical solutions to privacy risks, how libraries can educate the public, IP addresses, cookies and security issues.
